Student Do’s and Don’ts

At Arunodaya International Residential School, we believe that discipline, respect, and responsibility form the backbone of student development. The following code of conduct ensures a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all.

Student Do’s

  • Maintain Discipline and Dignity: Every student is expected to exhibit good behavior, self-control, and respect for others at all times.
  • Show Respect: Students must be courteous to teachers, staff, peers, and visitors. Politeness and humility are encouraged in every interaction.
  • Participate Actively: Involvement in academics, co-curricular activities, and school events is essential for holistic development.
  • Complete Assignments on Time: All classwork, homework, projects, and assessments should be submitted within the deadlines set by teachers.
  • Keep the Campus Clean: Use dustbins and take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in classrooms and public spaces.
  • Take Care of School Property: Students should handle books, equipment, furniture, and facilities responsibly.
  • Wear the ID Card: The school ID card must be worn every day. Loss of ID must be reported immediately for a duplicate.
  • Be Punctual and Regular: Attend school on time, and avoid unnecessary absences unless due to illness or emergencies.
  • Dress Neatly in Uniform: Students must follow the uniform guidelines diligently, including proper grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Be Honest in Examinations: Academic integrity is expected at all times; cheating or unfair means will not be tolerated.

Student Don’ts

  • No Bullying or Harassment: Teasing, bullying, or any form of verbal or physical abuse is strictly prohibited and will lead to serious action.
  • Avoid Vandalism: Damage to school property, including writing on desks or walls, will result in disciplinary measures and compensation.
  • No Electronic Gadgets: Mobile phones, memory cards, CDs, or unauthorized electronics are not allowed inside the school premises.
  • No Chewing Gum or Junk Food: Students are not allowed to bring chewing gum or packed snacks that are not permitted by school guidelines.
  • Do not bring expensive items: Wearing gold ornaments or bringing valuable items and cash is discouraged for safety reasons.
  • No Misconduct During Assessments: Use of unfair means in tests or exams will lead to cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action.
  • No Possession of Forbidden Articles: Alcohol, tobacco, sharp objects, or any illegal substance are strictly banned on campus.
  • Avoid Disrespectful Behavior: Arrogance, backtalk, or disobedience to school staff will not be tolerated.
  • No Loitering: Students should not roam aimlessly in corridors or restricted areas during class hours.
  • Do Not Leave Campus Unauthorised: Leaving the school premises without proper permission is considered a serious violation.
  • Id Card: Student should not damage or modify their Id cards.
