Dress Code and Uniform Guidelines
At Arunodaya International Residential School(AIRS), the school uniform reflects our values of discipline, equality and unity. Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform neatly and with pride, promoting a sense of belonging and identity within the school community.
Kindergarten to Grade 5:

The uniform includes a colour -specific shirt paired with suitable pants or skirts.

Shoes and socks colours matching with uniform.

Boys hair must be neatly groomed; girls must use hairbands as per the uniform colour.
LKG to 5th students should wear uniform as per following guidelines:
Grades VI to VIII
From Grade VI onwards, students follow a house-based and general uniform pattern with specific days dedicated to house representation.

General Uniform: Brown Pants, Sandal Colour half sleeved shirt and brown waistcoat with emblem.(Both Boys and Girls)

House Uniform: Colored t-shirt based on house allocation with track pants, suitable for physical education and sports..(Both Boys and Girls)
Boys hair must be neatly groomed; girls hair must be ponytail with white bands.
Grooming and Appearance Guidelines

Uniforms must be clean, ironed, and worn smartly.

No fancy hairstyles, hair coloring, or extravagant accessories are allowed.

Nails must be trimmed; nail polish is strictly prohibited.

Students are not allowed to wear gold ornaments or bring valuable items to school.

Wearing wristwatches is permitted only from Grade VI and above.
Maintaining proper uniform standards helps instill responsibility, discipline, and a positive school culture. Non-compliance with uniform policies will be addressed through appropriate disciplinary measures.
